Bree DeLano is not just a DJ. She is a creative force, a curator of cool, and an ambassador of music and culture.

 

Also known as DJ88, Bree has been DJing for 22 years. In 2006 she moved to Las Vegas and became the first female headlining local DJs with major nightlife residencies at the biggest hotels and nightclubs that decorate the Las Vegas Strip. Balancing nightlife and becoming an in demand event DJ, Bree also became one of the first female entertainment directors and a major contributor to the evolution of the Las Vegas music scene. Her passion for music and creating unique tailored experiences for every event she DJs has allowed her to shape shift with ease opening up for artists from Gwen Stefani to De La Soul to Tony Bennett. She has built her brand on the contrary, always infusing various genres and rare remixes, taking you on a journey via her live DJ sets. Bree has become a respected consultant as a music director/curator for events, hospitality, restaurant groups, and private clients. DJing will always be her first love but Bree’s business and creative acumen have paved the way for a multidimensional career spanning far beyond the DJ booth.

 

Bree began her professional journey in 1991 throwing parties attended by hip hop's elite from coast to coast. Known as a swiss army knife, Bree quickly became a dot connector while writing for various magazines as a music critic, and producing events that brought music lovers together across genre lines. She soon moved into artist & DJ management, A&R, artist development, and was the assoociate producer on the critically acclaimed "High School High" sountrack. Bree became known and trusted for her ear for new talent, skillful music curation & programming, and an eye for sharp creative direction, marketing, and branding.

 

Bree's love for music, and experience managing DJ's, led her to pursue her own career as a DJ in 2003. In 2006 she moved to Las Vegas and became the first female headlining local DJ with major nightlife residencies, various accolades, and a diverse demographic of high-end event clientele. She attributes her success to her arsenal of music and her talent to shape shift with ease opening up for artists from Gwen Stefani to Hiatus Kaiyote to Tony Bennett. From stadiums to red carpet events to dive bars she can do it all and it's her love for music that makes her evergreen. She has built her brand on the contrary, always infusing new artists and sub genres into her live DJ sets.

 

Bree became one of the only female Entertainment Directors in Las Vegas, where she carefully curated a team of 20+ resident DJ's, produced branded events, and curated nightly programming introducing new genres and artists to Las Vegas. She is a respected ambassador of the Las Vegas music scene, who has heavily contributed to the evolution and diversity of club culture. Under her navigation, Insert Coin(s) earned a reputation as "the place to go for true music lovers" bringing authenticity to the forefront in a city primarily known for kitchy nightlife experiences.

 

In addition to her DJ career in Las Vegas, Bree was an on-camera music correspondent for MORE Access, and launched her own live music series which she produced, hosted, and DJ'd called "Pop Up Live". The "Pop Up Live" series featured name and emerging local artists/bands and was named Best New Party as well as Best Concert of 2016 for Anderson.Paak's first Las Vegas performance.

 

She has earned respect and accolades not only for her professional endeavors, but also for philanthropic work in the area of animal rescue/adoption awareness and the arts. She is a proud mother, accomplished artist/painter, equestrian, chef, and animal rescue advocate. In 2017 Bree relocated to her hometown of Los Angeles with her daughter but continues to travel back and forth and work in Las Vegas, which she affectionally refers to as, her second home.
